Some old ones, here.

I'm not sure which of these two is more the South Jersey song. I think it's Bitchin' Camaro. Jersey Girl is more North Jersey... but the jury is still out.

Jersey Girl (to the tune of "Barbie Girl" by Aqua)

"I am SO trashed right now..."

Bitchin' Camaro - The Dead Milkmen

It's that whole part of "goin' down to the shore" and the "what kind of car do you got" that puts that last one in South Jersey territory. Heh.

Be very thankful I didn't still have my Bitchin' Camaro when I came out East. @_X

You never know. Someone might have thought your Camaro was pretty bitchin' and offered you more than it was worth. Hey, you can dream. :)

That is of course assuming it made it out there... That I would not have been very confident of. But seriously, it was crap, even the motorized hatch was malfunctioning, and that was only a $700 replacement (sort of important, since you can't really drive a car with the hatch not secured @_X).

Yeah, the "Jersey Girl" one is definitely more North Jersey. And South Jersey sure is full of suburban white kids who think they're punk.

Hee. They are neet.

Heh, finally got to hear "Bitchin' Camaro"...

"Bitchin' Camaro" guys are sadly an international phenomenon. In other countries they like other kinds of cars but the attitude is the same... big spoilers, dice hanging in the windshield, furry cover on the steering wheel etc etc :)

Hmmn. I feel the cultural distance of the Atlantic, but then... perhaps not.

*grins* I bet you knew the two guys singing "Bitchin' Camaro" in high school. (metaphorically, that is.)

^_^ Yeah, Camaro-guys show up all over. Amazing. There's no limit to the amount of silliness they can put on their cars.

Judging by the "my pants are made a plastic" line I'm thinking Essex is the UK equivalent of NJ. Essex Girl Jokes

No, I've really tried to stop chatting during the day. (now, I just waste my time in other ways. :P) I'm usually on after 6:30 PM.

Those sound like some pretty classic blonde jokes.

Essex Girl jokes are a genre to themselves here. The blonde jokes centre on dumbness and the Essex Girl jokes centre on the er... tartiness. That way for blonde Essex Girls we can be rude to them twice.
