Sad Monday

The football game did not go well. My favorite team, the Giants, got their collective butts kicked by their opponents. What upsets me the most is that their opponents are trash-talking bozos, and now that they have won the Big Game, they will be the heroes. I guess there is always next year.

At any rate, my husband and I went to visit my mom and dad for the game. My mom is a bigger fan than I am - she taught me everything I know about football. It was fun to spend the game with them, even if my team did lose. Here's a photo of all of us in our game gear:

Silly excuse to use the picture posting option, but there you go.

Giant's Offense Abducted.

Grrr... I think the NFL should start an immediate inquiry to find out what happened to the Giant's offense, which was obviously abducted by space aliens sometime before game time.

I was rather disappointed by the game too. Since I was born and raised in Ohio I have a moral obligation to root against anything Art Modell does and the Ravens in general. Not that I am a big Giants fan. At least it could have been a good game! BTW, nice picture Arafel.

I'm sorry to hear the team you root for lost the finals.

That is always a disappointment and a cause for disheartening emotions in fans.

I hope your team will win the finals next year.

Nice pic. :)

Thanks guys, I was wondering where the offense had wandered off to as well. Four interceptions! Geez.... It sure didn't look like the offense that hammered the Vikings. Oh well. The nicest things about seeing the Giants win would have been:

1. Vindication for the Dawg Pound and all the Cleveland fans, as well as all the older Baltimore fans who still miss the Colts

2. Shannon Sharpe and his buddy Ray Lewis would have to shut their yapping mouths

3. The nice guys would have finished first.
