Spending money is fun.
Spending someone else's money is more fun.
Spending Inotek's money on pipettors and other HPLC equipment is well justified since I accomplished more on their problem in one afternoon than they have with 5 full-time techs.
Our postdoc was thinking of going up there for a job possibly, but after hearing about their rectal-cranial inversion, he's not too sure.
I am not an HPLC tech... but they seem to think that I am. One more skill for the resume.

They're happy with the work you have done for them ? Cool !
>rectal-cranial inversion
I think I can understand why that guy thought twice...

Eh, postdoc says as long as they pay him for about a year, he doesn't care. :) He's a resourceful guy.

That should make them somewhat impressed at least... or yes, annoyed in some ways too...
I hope you can manage to convince them about your results in due time.
