That's how it was presented to me in my graduate Human Sexuality class, and I heartily agree. It's not like any person's likes and dislikes are ever ONE THING ONLY. There are shades and aspects to most things in life; why should sexuality be different?

Very true. But I think a lot of people are really hung up and afraid to admit that they might have had a same-sex (or opposite sex, depending!) attraction, especially men. Just because you have it doesn't mean you'd ever act on it, or that you're even serious. Being very strong friends with someone can be very like having a crush. So, I'm agreeing with you, in a lot of words. :)
