Xmas haul

It's obnoxious to list all your gifts, so I won't. But I am very pleased about getting a new digital camera (my old one finally tanked) and a PSP (used, not new, but as long as it works!) Gamestop is having a big sale this week, so there will be some used games under the tree before too long.

Also, the word seems to have gotten out that I like to drink tea, and I got a metric assload of tea for Christmas. My MIL gave me six boxes of Celestial Seasonings (omfg) and my parents got me a big ol' box from Teavana. I'm going to be peeing up a storm for months. Not that you needed to know that, but now you do.

Parents left this morning after staying for a couple of days. We were really happy to have them stay for a while, but I was ready for them to leave this morning and they were ready to go.

Also, all my Internet/LJ friends: thank you for your cards. I'm not sure what it says when I get more cards from my Internet buddies than I do from my family, but I think it's somewhere along the lines of "you guys are great." Merry Xmas and happy holidays to all. :)

I know what you mean about family being best in small doses. I'm always happy to see mine, but I'm always happy to get away from them too.

It says there are more of us out here, and you come across as fun and personable in any medium :-)

So what's the camera then? ::curious::

Exactly - this house is big enough for two, but it's a bit cramped for four adults. Also, there isn't much to do around here with parents in the winter besides go into New York.

Thank you for your nice card! ;) Much appreciated!

The new camera is a Sony CyberShot DSC-W80. It's about the size of a pack of cards, and I'm pleased to report that Sony has finally started to use the SD-format cards instead of insisting on their proprietary format.

Ah, that's interesting, since Sony's idiotic insistence on expensive personalised accessories was one of the reasons I bought the Canon instead when I got mine. Hope you have fun with yours!

Wait - Christmas isn't about buying things for yourself? When did that happen? :)
