Summary of today's meeting:

*NUCLEAR EXPLODINATION*

Someday, I will have a new job.

I hope the meeting didn't explode because something you did.

Indirectly. It's kind of complicated, but I have a lot of support. XD

That's good to hear. All the best if you start searching for a new job. You probably have some very good qualifications by now.

Thank you! ;) I think that if there is a move to be made, we'll make it closer to the springtime.

I can understand that. One at least wants the Christmas holiday to be over before making any big changes. Good luck at any rate!

Ouch. Without knowing about what happened, I'm just going to say good luck!

Hee. In a nutshell, we have certain quality issues that products coming out of R&D have to consider. R&D does not like to think about these things. In summary (stretch out over about six months:)

Me: "You have to do this."

Them: "No, we don't."

Me: "Actually, yes you do."

Them: "We'll put a long-term plan on it and no we don't."

Me: "Long-term plans are code for never, and yes you do."

Them: "NO WE DON'T HAFFA DO NOTHING WE DON'T WANT AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOU CAN LUMP IT."

Me: *calls in cavalry*

Them: *KABOOM*

And it sounds like you were right in the middle of it. Ugh.
