Tonight will be a good night.
Do you know why?
ladyofthewood does!
NFL PRESEASON FOOTBALL, BABY!
The Jints will be terrible. My mother and I will call each other several times during the game to talk about how terrible they are. We will dissect the offense and the defense, then hang up.
Then, they will score, and we will call each other again to profess our undying love for the team.
It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

The Chiefs lost to Minnesota, while the Patriots beat the Bengals. I'm just glad the preseason injury bug passed them over, only to land directly on Rex Grossman's fractured ankle. Poor bastard can't catch a break, can he? Looks like it's going to be all Green Bay/Minnesota for the NFC North, unless Detroit shows some flash.

This pic says one thing to me: OMG take the ball before the big bad guys get meeeeeeee!!! :p
Don't count the Giants out just yet
Tha Pats D looked a little suspect against the cats but you may recall they looked pretty awful in pre-season last year as well.
Three more weeks and I can stop watching the CFL to get my fix. :D
Re: Don't count the Giants out just yet
I think all teams don't play to caliber in the pre-season. These are exhibition games, for goodness sake's. I mean, the Chiefs lose to Minnesota and fans are crying 'OMG the defense is just like last year's!! Press the panic button!!!!' Even if the Patriots lost to Cincy it wouldn't matter: what matters is that they fix what's wrong. I'll start worrying when it's October and my teams are floundering. Until then I don't really care if they win or lose all the pre-season games.
Re: Don't count the Giants out just yet
Bledsoe never lived up to his potential, and I will be surprised if the Boyz win eight games this year.
And now with BC's own Doug Flutie back home too, I get goose bumps thinking about the upcoming season.
