Waiting in vain

I have a really kickass idea, inspired by waiting 1+ hours for a checkup that took 15 minutes.

Okay. You know those beeper things that restaurants hand out to tell you when your table is ready? Why not adapt those for the doctor's office, so that you know when the doctor is actually going to see you! Instead of waiting over half an hour in those embarrassing exam robes that are highly indecent! And the only way to entertain yourself is to read posters that describe Things That Could Be Wrong With You.

It has also been suggested that waiting rooms could be improved by the addition of a bar. This is also something I could support. Or at least new magazines, instead of "Smithsonian" from 2002.

Are you on MSN by the way?

No, I use AIM, but if you're in MSN, I'll get an account. It would be great to chat again. ^_^

I think so too! :))

But it's not inconvenient for you to set up another chat program?

I could set up AIM, but it's dad's comp and I'm a bit concerned about backdoors and security.

I installed Trillian, and I have no farkin' idea how it works, but you can try using my hotmail account (angharen @ hotmail dot com). However, I can't use MSN messenger during the day when you're most likely to be on. :( Only AIM, because it can run from an applet on the Web.

I see... ok I installed AIM on this comp. I still have you on the buddy list, so I'll give you a message when I see you're on. Since this is my dad's comp, I'll most likely be on after 2-3 pm your time.
