I'm gonna go out on a limb here and try this meme. I have to admit that I don't do these types of interview memes because I expect few answers, but the answers I get ought to be interesting. Thanks in advance to anyone who bites.

Where and when did you first hear my name/see my work/meet me? With what people/series/groups/fandoms etc. do you associate my LJ? This is not a praise or feedback meme, this is just to track the path of my online presence and to see the connections involved, to find out how people link together.

Saw you on ff.net in the Trigun section and was thrilled to find a story with decent writing, grammar and characterization. I think we started chatting on AIM last...spring? Summer? Sometime around then. And then Otakon last year I got to see your fabulousness in person.

We first met on LJ, just days after I joined! Our first interaction was in your community writers_guild, and then you responded to one of my journal entries. Awww...look how young we were. ;)

We found that we had quite a lot of common interests (and complaints, both being finishing grad students), and I suppose the rest is history.

That would be at the Realm back in 2001 I think. You were one of the first people to welcome me to the forum :) Then I joined lj via Elfwood only to find that there were memembers from the Realm that were here too - Fireceremony, Hideto etc.
