Seung Mina SCII cosplay rundown
I think I drove around half of Jersey last night, but almost everything is in the bag.
Red and blue Chinese brocades: Check.
Green dupioni silk: FREAKING FINALLY YES
Yellow dupioni silk: Ordered.
Red lining: Expensive but quality
Gold lame': Pimpin', yo.
Blue Chinese brocade shoes: Bought. Need little inserts because they are a tich too big.
Patterns: Got.
Muslin: Wal-mart rocks.
Thread: Matches perfectly (and it had damn better for $3.50/240 yd)
Hopefully there will be a stretch of a 2-4 days over the holiday where husband won't bug me to work on the thesis, and I can just work on the outfit all day long. It doesn't seem too hard except for the shirt, and there are a lot of straight pieces that I can cut with a rotary cutter (megasharp pizza wheel).
Still need either buttons or frog closures, but that's easy enough. And husband says he'll help me make a collapsible zanbatoh.
Kickass.
