Okay. I'm six eps into Evangelion and I have to say one thing:

Can we please stop seeing Shinji and pals in the nude? Come on, the kid's fourteen. There's something indecent about that. Give him a couple years.

The series is more engaging than I would otherwise have thought. The one ep littlelicks showed at Anime Weekend I didn't grab me that much - "ah, another giant robot mecha series, yada yada yada." But, despite Shinji being a colossal whiner, the series is interesting and the English dub is surprisingly good (the price one pays for renting from the video store.)

On that note the "Look! Kirby!" line from "This is Otakudom" keeps getting funnier and funnier.

And "This is Greenwood" is odd. Shounen-ai, anyone? Ah well, for six eps total, it's worth the time investment to say I've seen it.

Not in the right mood these days for "El Hazard." Meh.

Thus concludes the random anime talk.

El Hazard definitely is a series ya gotta be in the mood for. I think it's because it's an OVA, so the episodes pretty much run together. You have to be in the mood to sit for 4 hours and watch. :)
