(no subject)

Our printer is making noises like it's going to have a baby printer any minute now.

This is not encouraging.

This whole thread is REALLY disturbing. Maybe not just 'cause of the subject matter, but because of the people having the conversation to begin with.

They're my friends through you! ^_^ What, moaning and groaning printers are disturbing? I guess they are if they stop printing things.

No word on the father yet. I'm guessing it's the super-spiffy color laserjet in the other room, since you can just see how a printer like that could just sweep a staid workhorse like the laserjet 4000 off its feet. But in reality, it was just about the ink exchange.

Okay. That was just weird.

you might have to do a paternity test. Get samples of all the toner of all the printers. Laserjet 4000 can be pretty slutty

I was just innocently browsing through my Livejournal friends page, on a computer in the university library (where I am meant to, of course, be writing an presentation on Kenneth Grahame's 'The Wind in the Willows'), when I see this entry and laugh quite uncontrollably and loudly.

It was one of those moments where everyone stops typing and just stares at the person who made the outburst. Took nearly a minute for everyone to get back on with their work. I hope you are happy.

Really, reading this entry made me realise, I have heard printers is so many places make so many odd and painful noises and have not ever drawn this parallel. Problem solved now though, thanks to these innocent two lines, I think I probably shall now till the day I die.

Thanks for the laugh!
