Random note of the morning

I've almost finished downloading the first three eps of Rose of Versailles (there seems to be a little bit missing yet, and no one was seeding that part) but there was enough there to check out the first couple minutes. Good grief, but Utena has Rose of Versailles written ALL OVER IT. I understand that one inspired the other, but between the roses everywhere and the girl caught up in thorns in the intro to the "roses scattering in beauty" (like roses whirling in freedom?)... It will be interesting to see where this is going.

Of course, it takes me the better part of a day to dl one ep, not that I am complaining. It's better than the goddamn dialup.
